Hi all,

Posting here for community discussion: a proposal to deliver Root Finance V2, an updated revisioned release with a new decentralized and community-driven team building from the existing structure through a new restructured solution.

Main Points:

  • 15 months to mainnet-ready delivery

  • $23,000 USD-equivalent with four delivery milestones

good idea, please update and fix the dapp.

I don’t believe we, as community or the foundation, are in the financial capacity of paying for future dApp development at the moment. I can only encourage you to continue working on Root, that would be great. But just like me, working on Astrolescent and DefiPlaza, you will have to fund it yourself.

yes I suppose and I understand that. A dApp like that needs a team, it cannot be otherwise.

the proposal is a ‘delivery versus payment’ and I have not been able to find anyone who has agreed to pursue such an initiative without at least one goal of this kind

It would already be something to find a way to eliminate or significantly reduce the costs of cloud services

on the other hand, it is and has also been one of the problems of Radix itself

… no. go and work free fixing that shit first , then come back to v2.

I’d like to, but it’s not feasible. Besides, it takes more people to do something that’s seriously viable. More, about 20k usd for 3-4 ppl to deliver a working dApp in about 15 months It’s almost like asking them to work for free anyway
