I’m creating this topic with the idea of deciding HOW, WHO and WHAT, for managing the Radix Social channels.
We need moderators to handle them once the transition to the new DAO entity is made.
So below you can post what RULES these mods should follow, method of election, and maybe Self Nominate if you want to be a moderator.
If you Self nominate, introduce yourself, why you think you are a good candidate, and on what Social App you want to be the moderator (Telegram, Discord, X, Reddit, etc.)
I like the idea of community-driven moderation with clear accountability.
Rules I think are important: transparency, neutrality, clear escalation paths, and prioritizing education over punishment where possible.
Self-nomination:
I’m active in Web3 communities and have experience helping moderate discussions and keep conversations productive, especially on Telegram. I’m patient, consistent, and comfortable handling conflict calmly.
I’d be interested in helping moderate Telegram, particularly during the DAO transition phase, if the community feels I’d be a good fit.
Could be also an idea just to map existing mods and atleast during the transition to keep them as they are, as I think we might get tired with too many things to vote. We need first to vote the DAO stuff.
Either way, please add more self nominations here. Get involved.
Mapping existing moderatorand keeping things stable during the transition feels practical, especially to avoid governance fatigue early on.
I’m happy to support however the community decides whether that’s assisting existing mods during the transition or stepping in later once the DAO structure is finalized.
Thanks for pushing this forward and encouraging participation.
