How to install/update the Radix Desktop Wallet

The Radix Desktop Wallet is currently the only official wallet and is needed to receive/send XRD and stake them. Here’s how to install it:

You can follow the same steps to update your Radix Wallet to the latest version.

Windows

1. Go to https://wallet.radixdlt.com/

2. Click on “Download for Windows”

   

3. Save the executable on your computer

   

4. Run the downloaded file (Radix-Wallet-Setup-1.x.x.exe, version will vary)

   

5. The installer will setup the Radix Wallet

   

6. Once the install has been completed, the Radix Wallet will automatically open.

MacOS

1. Go to https://wallet.radixdlt.com/

2. Click on “Download for MacOS”

   

3. Once downloaded, go to your downloads folder and open the downloaded .dmg file.

   

4. The .dmg file will be mounted in your desktop and in your Finder sidebar, under your hard drive. Clicking either one of these opens the DMG file.

   

5. Drag and drop the “Radix Wallet” icon in your Applications folder to install it.

6. You can now eject the .dmg (disk image) file.

7. The Radix Wallet is now installed and can be opened from your Applications folder.
