Summary
I propose to migrate the current official Radix website from Webflow to Cloudflare and host it there temporarily while the Radix DAO is established and decides the long-term direction of the website.
I will carry out the migration, configure the hosting, connect the domain, and maintain the website during this interim period.
This would preserve the current website while removing the existing Webflow hosting cost of approximately $200 per month.
Rationale
The Radix community is entering a transition period, but the DAO has not yet been established. It may therefore be premature to invest in a permanent website redesign, platform, or governance structure.
The current website is primarily a content and marketing website covering the Radix Wallet, ecosystem, developer tools, technology, community, and educational resources. A static copy should be sufficient to preserve the existing web presence while the long-term approach is decided.
Cloudflare supports static websites with royal limits under its free plan and I have years of experience running them on Cloudflare.
Proposed approach

Work with the Foundation to create a static copy of the current Webflow website.

Review the copied site for broken links, missing assets, forms, integrations, analytics, cookie consent, mobile behaviour, accessibility, and SEO.

Create and configure a Cloudflare Worker/Cloudflare project.

Test the site on a temporary Pages URL.

Connect the existing Radix domain after the migrated site has been verified.

Keep the Webflow site available until the migration is complete and a rollback is possible.

Document the source files, hosting configuration, DNS settings, deployment process, and known limitations.
Scope
The purpose of this migration is to preserve the current website, not to redesign it.
The initial migration should include:

Existing copy, images, branding, and downloads

Existing URL structure wherever practical

Redirects for URLs that cannot be preserved

Privacy and cookie notices

Required analytics
Features that rely on Webflow CMS functionality, forms, integrations, or server-side behaviour may need to be replaced, simplified, or temporarily disabled. These limitations will be identified and documented before the domain is switched.
My responsibilities
I will:

Perform the website migration with support from the Foundation.

Configure Cloudflare.

Support connecting the domain and configure DNS on the Foundation side.

Test the migrated site on desktop and mobile.

Identify and document unsupported features.

Maintain the hosted copy during the interim period.

Resolve reasonable hosting or deployment issues.

Keep the project documented so it can be transferred later.
Interim ownership and control
Because the DAO does not yet exist, I will temporarily control the Cloudflare account, website repository, and deployment process.
This control is operational and transitional. It does not constitute permanent ownership of the Radix brand, website content, domain, or related digital assets.
Until the DAO is established, I will act as the website’s temporary operator. I will avoid significant content or design changes unless they are approved through the appropriate community process.
Once the DAO is operational, control of the website and hosting arrangements can be transferred to the DAO or to an entity designated by the DAO.
Long-term website ownership and governance should be decided separately by the DAO.
Cost
Cloudflare hosting can be provided through its free plan, subject to Cloudflare’s applicable limits. This would eliminate the current Webflow hosting expense of approximately $200 per month, equivalent to approximately $2,400 per year.
Domain registration, email, analytics, third-party services, and any future paid infrastructure would remain separate costs.
The proposal concerns hosting and migration only. It does not assume that future maintenance, development, or other work will be provided without separate agreement.
Decision requested
Approve the migration of the current official Radix website from Webflow to Cloudflare, with the migration and interim hosting carried out by me.
I will retain temporary operational control until the Radix DAO is established. Once the DAO exists, website ownership, hosting, maintenance, and governance should be decided through a separate DAO process.
This proposal provides a low-cost and reversible way to preserve the Radix website while saving approximately $2,400 per year in Webflow hosting costs and giving the future DAO time to determine the best long-term approach.
