What's Next - TODOs

Hello all,

Below is a list of TODOs / Ideas that I believe are relevant to what comes next. Please reply with additions so this post can be a comprehensive list. In the list I will insert my idea(s).

Todos

  1. Current Foundation deliver Proposal and Voting solution
  2. Use #1 to vote, as a community (voting will always be as a community unless otherwise specified), on the Persons who are to be apart of the new Entity that shepherds RadixDLT forward (my take: Peachy) (I also would like to be involved)
  3. With the Persons selected vote on what type of Entity is selected (my take: Wyoming DUNA - referencing the smart contract behind #1 during the creation of it)
  4. The Entity is created and The Persons are set in place (no Persons are to be paid)
  5. Select a cloud provider workspace to store documents, assets such as pitch decks etc (my take: Google Workspace)
  6. Select a secrets / password manager to handle credentials that are to be handed over: (options I found: Keeper Security, Doppler, Infisical, NordPass, 1Password, TodoForm)
  7. Select a 2FA solution (my take: Authy, Google Authenticator)
  8. Create an Apple Developer account using EIN from The Entity
  9. Create an Google Developer account using EIN from The Entity
  10. Take possession of all accounts (github, twitter, Google Cloud (or wherever things are being hosted) discord… all of them)
  11. Have all domains currently owned by the Foundation be transferred to The Entity
  12. Create emails for each Persons with radixdlt domain
  13. Use new emails to update main email in #5, #6 and #7
  14. Setup multi-sig such that The Entity can take possession of crypto based assets
  15. Setup bank account for The Entity such that it can take possession of non crypto assets
  16. Select a project management tool (options I found: linear.app, monday.com, trello.com, asana.com, clickup.com)

Docket

  1. shutdown the Incentives campaign
  2. talk with 3rd parties about going forward with the test with Timan’s solution and shortly after with Fox’s solution
  3. look into stopping market makers / CEXs and only rely on DeFi solutions (DeFiPlaza, C9, Astrolecent)
  4. implement validator jailing
  5. resolve node validator disk issue (ie disk filling up)
  6. meet with validators to discuss how much they can ramp back / lower costs
  7. get a gauge of who would leave if validator subsidy was turned off vs lowered to $XYZ
  8. talk with validators about if we need 100 validators or could we get by at 80 or 50
  9. an objective early on is to ramp back / slow down (with a lot of things not just validators) so monthly running costs can be lowered significantly
  10. produce a financials report so the community knows where the Entity stands
  11. request an action plan / proposal from Flight Of The Fox for his work on Xi’an
  12. request an action plan / proposal from the mobile team (i think i saw they are wanting to stick around and help) for their work on MFA and getting the apps to a solid place for now

High Level Goals

  1. reduce monthly costs by scaling back in a lot of areas
  2. focus on keeping things running
  3. push head long into building / developing
  4. get something worth making a lot of noise about
  5. get that thing in front of as many people with funds as possible

Note about “High Level Goals #4). I believe a lot of what we have is awesome but sadly we are not noticed in the crypto market. Having a Xi’an type of solution at the ready means we can all go out and pitch it.

Thank you for reading

Dont touch google if we can . for mails protonmail, they have too drive , word , excell , its private and could be encrypted when needed , for 2fa password aegis ( open source ), for password control KeepassXC , same opensource , for storage etc same , dont give more power and control to google in any aspect.

but where would the new entity store the KeepassXC file? with proton?

yes they can save the file there and open locally when needed , the file itself is encrypted , or you could use too the password service of proton , they are located in swiss and really better on security and privacity than gg.there are alternatives for gg services easily.
