Why does the Radix Ledger app show such large amounts when confirming a transaction?

The current version of the Radix Ledger app shows amounts in attos - the fractional unit of XRD. 1 XRD = 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 attos (1x10^18).

For example, 9164264250557521654536 displayed on the Ledger Radix app is 9164.264250557521654536 XRD

The following updates have been made to the Ledger Radix app to fix this issue:

Currently no estimate on when the Ledger Radix app will be approved for Ledger Live or whether a new sideload version will be made available before then.
